ThinkBox facilities will feature the latest testing equipment for instant proofs of concept.

Global packaging and paper manufacturer Mondi has introduced ThinkBox, a new concept to provide space and professional guidance for its corrugated packaging customers.

The company has opened its first ThinkBox customer engagement centres in Germany, the Czech Republic and Turkey.

ThinkBox is designed to help customers from different industries in their efforts to enhance their corrugated packaging.

It offers insights from industry and sustainability experts, as well as ideas and knowledge from a network of successful designers.

Customers will be provided with an ‘immersive’ creative experience through events, training courses and individual workshops via physical, digital or hybrid channels.

These settings are designed to enable the co-creation of more sustainable packaging designs.

Mondi debuted the flagship ThinkBox at its facility in Bupak in České Budějovice, Czech Republic.

The centre covers a 500m² area and includes space for engagement and shared experiences.

The ThinkBox in Mondi Tire Kutsan, Turkey, offers ideas for the retail environment and fresh produce packaging, while the centre in Ansbach, Germany, focuses on heavy-duty packaging.

All three facilities will be equipped with advanced testing equipment for instant proofs of concept.

In August, Mondi launched seven corrugated packaging solutions for online grocery markets in Central Europe.

The solutions offer packaging for perishable food and wine bottles among other products.
